D-SIDE: a pair of shoes with an experience

Nowadays all that matters is one thing: to personalize. Uniqueness is a must to create our own style which tells about our character, our mood, our way of being and way of thinking.
I've recently discovered the brand D-Side which sells shoes which contain this concept, all around Europe and Asia: they are simple sneakers but you can personalize them with the zip strap that you want which can be removed and always changed as you prefer.

Al giorno d'oggi tutto ciò che conta è una cosa: personalizzare. L'unicità è un must per creare un proprio stile che rispecchi il nostro carattere, il nostro umore, il nostro modo di fare e il nostro modo di pensare.
Ho da poco scoperto il brand D-Side che vende in Europa ed Asia delle scarpe che racchiudono questo concept: hanno la semplicità delle sneakers ma è possibile personalizzarle con l'aggiunta che preferiamo che è removibile quindi può essere cambiata a nostro piacimento.

What to wear - Ankle booties edition!

Hello everyone! Today I'd like to share with you some ways to wear ankle booties! 

You probably have seen them in lots of styles, colours, patterns... ankle booties are the trend of the moment which doesn't seem to be stopping and we cannot start the cold season without a few outfits which include them!

Salve a tutte! Oggi vorrei parlarvi di mille modi per indossare... gli ankle booties!
Ne avrete visti di ogni modello, colore, dimensione, fantasia.. gli ankle booties sono il trend del momento, che non sembra voler cessare e non si può assolutamente iniziare la fredda stagione senza qualche outfit che preveda di indossarli.

The first option is a casual look, the typical no-stress one, when we only want to wear a pair of jeans and a comfortable jumper: with a pair of ankle booties we are safe! We keep the outfit plain and simple but with an extra touch!

La prima proposta è un look casual, il tipico in cui non abbiamo voglia di sforzarci troppo e infilare jeans e un maglione ci sembra la unica via: con uno stivaletto nero abbinato andiamo sul sicuro, l'outfit rimane comodo e informale ma avremo quel tocco in più!

This second one is for who wants to be more creative, perfect for a shopping day: wool dress, leather jacket and bag in neutral colours which are brighten up by the floral pattern on the booties, which matches the colour range of the entire look.

Il secondo look è per le più fantasiose, perfetto per una giornata di shopping: dress di lana e giacca in pelle in colori basic così come la borsa, che vengono ravvivati dal delicato motivo floreale degli stivaletti, che riprende la gamma di colori dell'outfit.

The third option is more classy, with an oversize dress, tights, a trench and a cute bag, playing with a light/dark contrast and bringing the outfit on an other level with the open booties whitch has a more sofisticated style than the usual ones.

La terza proposta è più classy, con l'abitino oversize, calze, trench e borsetta, giocando su abbinamento chiaro/scuro e portando il look ad un altro livello con lo stivaletto aperto di lato, una versione degli ankle booties molto più fine e ricercata.

This last one is for those nights when heels seem to be killers: here we have the confirmation that the right pair of ankle booties can keep that elegant vibe on the outfit even if heels-free! The point is chosing a nice pair with metal details, maybe matching it with a bright blazer and a nighttime style bag; and of cours our favourite little black dress!

L'ultimo look è soprattutto per quelle serate in cui i tacchi sembrano essere arme letali: qui abbiamo la conferma, che i giusti ankle booties possono lasciare al look quell'impronta elegante pur non avendo centimetri da vendere! Il trucco è sceglierli con dettagli metal, magari abbinati ad un blazer che riprenda il luccichio e una pochette da sera, il tutto con il nostro abitino elegante preferito!

Crop tops mania

We all remember the 90's fashion when crop tops were a must with high waist and flared trousers.
Now we prefer skinny jeans but if long skirts are back being "in" again, also our tops's hemlines are raised of  a few inches: last year, oversize t-shirts and jumpers were so popular but as we can notice since last spring's fashion shows, first with Enrico Pucci and then with Dolce&Gabbana, runways have been dominated by crop tops and this trend spread from celebrities style to street fashion.
It comes from the USA and it's the key piece of alternative outfits which are made sexier thanks to the belly which is showed.
This trend's victims are the many t-shirts that have been cut, and as you can see from a lot of youtube diy videos or diy blog posts, lots of people have been trying to teach how to cut our top pieces to fit them into this moment's trend.
It's not only a daytime look, if you use more luxury pieces and glam jewels it's perfect for the night, but keep in mind not to exagerate because there's a thin line between daring and being vulgar.
Maybe some of us don't feel confortable in a crop top because it can show off a part of our body that we are insecure about. But if you match a crop top with a maxi high waisted skirt or a pair of high waisted stretch trousers, you will only show a little piece of skin but still get that crop top sexy feeling.
Here there are some daytime and also celebrity nighttime looks and some runways pictures:

Tutte noi ci ricordiamo la moda dei primi anni '90 in cui la pancia scoperta era un must abbinata alla vita alta e ai pantaloni a zampa.
Adesso ci atteniamo più allo skinny trend ma se le gonne sono tornate ad essere "in" anche se lunghe, i centimetri dei nostri top si sono accorciati drasticamente: l'anno scorso le magliette e felpe oversize erano all'ordine del giorno, ma come abbiamo potuto notare da questa primavera le sfilate prima di Enrico Pucci e poi di Dolce e Gabbana sono state dominate dai cosiddetti crop top e la moda si è diffusa a partire dalle celebrità fino alle strade: il trend arriva dall'America, ed è oggetto centrale di outfits un po' alternativi, che sono resi più sexy anche se sportivi proprio grazie alla famosa pancia scoperta.
Vittime di questo trend sono state le tante magliette tagliate, come si può vedere facendosi un giro tra canali moda di youtube e fashion blogs, tante ragazze insegnano come tagliare le nostre vecchie magliette per adattarle alla nuova moda del momento.
E' un look che si adatta particolarmente al giorno però se sono utilizzati tessuti più glam e abbinamenti di accessori gioiello, è perfetto anche per la serata ma senza esagerare perchè c'è un piccolo passo tra voler osare ed essere volgare!
Ovviamente non si può affermare, che tutte noi donne ci sentiamo a nostro agio a scoprire una parte che può essere motivo di insicurezze quindi come utilizzare i crop top senza scoprire troppo? Con gonne maxi o pantaloni stretch a vita esclusivamente alta, che lascia solo pochi centimetri di pelle scoperta che dà comunque l'effetto desiderato!
